Sensei Lānaʻi, A Four Seasons Resort, is set in one of the world’s most secluded and inspiring settings. Brought to life by some of the best minds and practitioners in wellness, the Sensei Way philosophy is led by science, backed by evidence-based practices, and supported by innovative technology. Grounded in nature, the retreat integrates seamlessly with the spiritual uplands of Kōʻele, surrounded by tropical greenery, undulating mountains and expansive plateaus on Hawaii’s most secluded and smallest inhabited island.

Sensei was founded by Larry Ellison, technology pioneer and co-founder of Oracle, and Dr. David Agus, a world-leading physician, scientist and bestselling author. From this collaboration, the Sensei Way philosophy was born at Sensei Lānaʻi. Sensei has now taken its philosophy to its newest retreat location in the greater Palm Springs area with the opening of Sensei Porcupine Creek in Rancho Mirage, California.

The Sensei Way integrates healthy living practices into three simple paths–Move, Nourish and Rest. Led by a highly trained team of Sensei Guides and wellness practitioners, guests are supported throughout their stay with one-on-one wellbeing consultations, relaxing spa experiences, and an abundance of enriching wellness classes. Guests can choose from curated experiences that bring these paths into practice or more structured wellbeing programs that utilize health data to fine tune your daily practices and meet your wellbeing goals.

Travel advisors can help clients choose which package complements their wellness goals. There is an introductory experiential package (with a two-night minimum) or the Optimal Wellbeing Program (five-night minimum). These personalized itineraries are designed to integrate a balance of movement, nourishment and rest, along with immersive classes and enriching wellness consultations tailored to individual preferences.

There are also special wellness packages designed specifically for golfers and tennis enthusiasts. All Sensei guests have access to a range of daily wellbeing classes. They include yoga and meditation, guided art and garden walks, hikes, resistance training, core work, nutrition lectures and more. Additionally, at Sensei Lānaʻi, a Four Seasons Resort guests have the opportunity to choose from an array of island activities, including horseback riding, sailing, mountain biking, ziplining and cultural tours.
